Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen.

4 0

Today is the sequential date for 20 years. We won’t see a date in sequential order again until January 2, 2034 (01.02.34). I’m gonna be like 85 years old by then, geez.

So last year I wrote about this last year when it happened on 11.12.13. It was deep. I re-read it today and thought, where in the world did all this come from?

And then I remembered how that entire post just flowed effortlessly as Holy Spirit guided every word and revelation shared.

When I realized that today was the last time this would happen again for 20 years, I asked Jesus, “Should I write something? What are you saying today?”

I decided to be still and be aware. Tune in a bit closer/longer than usual.

And while I don’t have as much to share as I did last year, I do have a few words I’d like to encourage you with on this special day!

In last year’s post, I shared how I believed 2014 would be a year of deliverance, salvation, reproduction, and anointing. Many of us were being positioned for what’s ahead.

For me personally, I can 100% say this happened in many different ways. Wow. God did what He said. I would share how specifically, but you would stop reading before I got to the significance of today and then that would just defeat the whole purpose of this post…and I’d be very sad.

So as for today! The spiritual significance of 12 and 13 remain as I wrote last year:

12 (the 12th month) – God is reminding you today that you are right where He wants you and that He’s keeping things in order in the midst of this confusion and chaos

The key is to remain in Him at a time where it may be tempting to rebel and create your own path.

13 (the 13th day) – you may have experienced a lot of lack in some areas. You may have lost loved ones, jobs, and in some instances you may have wanted to give up on God. Or perhaps just choose your own path or way of doing/handling things because the plan God has you on just hasn’t been working for you.

To you dear friend, I say trust and believe that greater is ahead. All you have to do is stay close to Our Father.

14 (the 14th year) – this year has been one of deliverance and salvation. Many have been protected from dangers. You’ve been released from old jobs, relationships, circumstances; and you’ve pressed into new territories (literal and spiritual) and received new promises, visions, and dreams. It has been a year of change, and also a year of increased and unexpected movement.

Things may have moved a bit faster than you were able to process, leaving you at many times tired, overwhelmed, feeling like you can’t get ahead…yet in the midst of it all, you remained thankful, tired, but thankful.

Now here comes the good news. We are now 18 days away from 2015. Cray.

Cray? I don’t even say cray, but anyway…

I believe 2015, for those who are in Christ, will be a year of rest and mercy.

Somebody say, “Praise Him!”

What’s so interesting about this is that just a few days ago, the Lord told me to study about His “goodness and mercy.”

Now, when I’ve thought of the word “mercy,” I usually always couple it with “grace.” Which led me to believe that His mercy had more to do with Him not giving me what I deserve…kind of a “sparing the deserved rod,” sort of thing, but what I learned, totally blew me away.

The word mercy actually means compassion.

It’s not so much about God withholding deserved punishment, but it’s about how He lavishes us with His compassion.

And that is what I believe is ahead for us in this upcoming year.

God will allow us to rest in his compassion. To taste His goodness and peace on a level we’ve never experienced before.

So rest in knowing that God knows we’re all exhausted!! He knows who hasn’t been able to sleep or have adequate down time or who feels so behind all the time.

He knows and He cares.

And I believe He will grant rest and mercy in 2015 for all who chose to abide in Him and walk in step with His spirit.

Our. God. Is. Good.

Seriously, ya’ll…Oh taste and see.

Psalm 35:8 “Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

These number sequences are fascinating. I am puzzled, though, by your opening sentence, since this number sequence is NOT a palindrome. Palindromes are a favorite device of mine and a pattern I watch for in all quarters. A palindrome is a sequence that reads the same forwards or backwards. Merriam-Wester: “a word, verse, or sentence (as “Able was I ere I saw Elba”) or a number (as 1881) that reads the same backward or forward.” Wikipedia: “A palindrome is a word, phrase, number, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward or forward.” I have a palindrome number series on Facebook from my car odometer. https://www.facebook.com/orville.jenkins/media_set?set=a.2477176246977.2143371.1179614090&type=3

Thank you Orville! You are exactly right, I was going off of memory when I wrote that part and I thought last year I wrote about a palindrome, but I just went back and re-read last year’s post and I never called it that.

Clearly, I changed the definition of a palindrome in my head since I last learned about it…I’m quite sure you’ve corrected the definition for me forever now :)

I have corrected this in my post…I appreciate your correction and thorough explanation greatly!!

And thanks for taking the time to read & comment!
