I should be super stressed right now.
Like legitimately so.
But for some reason I’m not.
But something in me remains calm in the midst of this chaos.
As I was brushing me teeth I thought through everything that’s currently on my plate as well as my current state of life and I asked, “Why am I not breaking down or stressing right now?”
And then I heard this simple yet weighty word:
Here’s what I know is true:
When you’re where you’re supposed to be, walking obediently in the will of God, He sustains you through it.
It’s called the grace place.
It’s my favorite place to be.
There’s peace, joy, and favor here. It’s safe and the pressure is off!
Because God tells us He is all we need in this place and He promises that He’ll see us through every second and every moment, even if we don’t think we can make it.
So to the mother feeling overwhelmed… to the person starting a new job with way more responsibilities…to that person who is exhausted and wondering how in the world you’re gonna make it thru this week (uhh yeah, I know “it’s only Monday!!!”)…AND to the person sitting in traffic, about to be late to work like me (Lol)…
God’s grace is with you.
You’re in His hands.
And all is and will be well because
He is our rock, our foundation, our cornerstone and sustainer which means, we don’t have to be strong!
So with that, I encourage you to rest in the grace place today & watch Him work.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)
