About Me
What’s the point?
A question Kandis Davis has asked regarding everything from wearing rubber bands on her braces as a kid to following speed limits as an adult. “I’ve always been one to respond better and do what’s right when I understand the point,” she said. Kandis believes this is why she is able to communicate so effectively with young people. “We want to know why. We want to understand the point. Answering with ‘because I said so,’ doesn’t always yield the best reactions from my generation.”
Since age 12, Kandis has had an interest in media and the music industry. During college she hosted a radio show and from there she went on to work in many areas of the music industry, including: artist management, tour promotions, marketing, road management and more. While working in the music business, Kandis earned her Bachelors in Public Relations from Hampton University and her Masters in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
After 5 years of working in music, Kandis began to wonder, “What’s the point?” She no longer felt working in the music industry was her purpose. She began to pray and seek God for direction and it was during this time of evaluation that Kandis discovered the answer to the most important “why” she could ever ask: “Why do I exist?”
“Knowing that the reason I am alive is to make God famous and display Christ’s love to others, totally placed me on a new path,” says Kandis. “I couldn’t be selfish because in the selfish moments, I’m glorifying myself and my desires, but who am I? What have I done to deserve anything good?”
With a goal to not waste her life, Kandis is determined to help others come to know their Creator and understand their life’s purpose. She longs to see young people shift their focus from the temporal things of this world to that which actually matters. “I heard that if you come to Christ when you’re old, you save your soul, but if you come to Christ when you’re young, you save your life…I want to help save lives,” says Kandis.
At age 27, Kandis now uses her music/media skills and experience for new purposes, including working as an Audience Coordinator and Assistant Producer at Daystar Television Network and serving as a Faith Mentor for the youth at St. John Church in Grand Prairie and Southlake, Texas.

Hello Kandis,
This is very impressive.....I use to volunteer at a Sr. High School in 2005 to 2006 and I know and seen that young teens girls are in need of positive mentors. Keep on listening to God!!!!
Be Bless Sis!!
