Sometimes you wake up and realize, “Life is Incredible.” That happened for me today.
Two and a half years ago I was sitting on a random street in L.A. talking life and music with my big bro, Roy Cotton. We were about to split when he said “I want you to hear this song of Niya’s and tell me what you think.”
It was still in the works, instruments played in his head that weren’t yet recorded, lyrics were still being figured out, but it was a great start. Honestly, I was just happy to know Niya was working on her own music again since at that point, it’d been over 6 years since her debut album, “Someday” released.
Today, that developing song I heard on that spring L.A. evening is now available for the world to hear! Because I’m so excited about it’s release and because the song is actually greatness, I’d like to do a giveaway!
The song is called “Morning Song (Glorious Day).” It speaks about the beauty of a new day with Jesus!
It released the morning after I had a challenging day yesterday. Waking up and listening to this song reminded me that:
- God’s mercies are new every morning.
- No matter what our circumstances, we have a reason to rejoice and give thanks.
- It is my choice to rejoice in each new day
- Life is an incredible gift
So today, I’m thankful because God has lifted the burdens of yesterday with a beautiful new morning. Thank you Jesus, my today will be different from my yesterday!
Now it’s your turn!
How to Win:
I’m going to gift “Morning Song” to 8 randomly selected people today!
- Post a comment with one reason why you are thankful this new morning/day.
- You have until morning hours are over in Los Angeles (since that’s where I first heard the song).
So leave a comment from now until 12pm PT/2pm CT/3pm ET and you could win!
Winners will be announced and the song will be sent to you this afternoon. Annnd Go!
